Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week: Ryan’s Journey at Chana Projects

This week marks National Apprenticeship Week — an opportunity to highlight the incredible value that apprentices bring to businesses and the industry. At Chana Projects, we are proud to support the next generation of construction and heritage professionals through a balance of structured learning and hands-on experience.

One of those is Ryan, our Project Coordinator, who is currently undertaking an apprenticeship with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). After joining us last year Ryan has already worked on a diverse set of projects across several sectors, including healthcare (with Royal Brompton), heritage (with the National Trust), and ecclesiastical (with the United Reformed Church).

Ryan has said he’s thoroughly enjoying his apprenticeship with the CIOB, and that it’s equipping him with the technical knowledge, leadership skills, and industry insights needed to thrive in the built environment—all while making meaningful contributions to our projects!

At Chana Projects, we are committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Ryan’s story with us so far is just one example of how apprenticeships can pave the way for a successful career, and we look forward to seeing him develop into a future leader in the industry.

If you're considering an apprenticeship in construction, project management, or heritage consultancy, we encourage you to explore the many opportunities available.
